Waiting for the LUAS next to the snowy The Four Courts (Ireland's equivalent to the Supreme Court). And yes, thanks to the announcer on the LUAS, I can say 'The Four Courts' in Irish. :)

It snowed in Dublin today. We occasionally had flakes, but it was mostly the dry little balls that pelt you in the face.

The River Liffey is tidal so it's always going up and down. I was crossing the river today and noticed that it was higher than normal due to all of the rain we've been having in Ireland. We've been fortunate that we haven't been affected by any of the horrible flooding that they've had elsewhere in the country.

What started out as a beautiful morning turned into a wintry day. I love catching glimpses of the Wicklow mountains when I'm walking around town.

It's lovely blue sky out there, but man is it cold!

We had 5 inches of rain in about 90 minutes. There were flash floods all over the place and as you can see, this person's backyard flooded all the way up to their house. You know they had to have water in their basement. Fortunately, my parent's house sits up a bit on a hill, so all of the water runs past their backyard in a ditch.
