362/365

I walk this way all the time and I've never noticed this superskinny building. I haven't seen a place this skinny since we were in Amsterdam!

Low tide on the Liffey. Stinky.

The in laws came to Dublin for the day and we headed to the zoo. The poor kid wanted to see the 'King Lion' so bad and they didn't have one. He was not impressed by the female lion at all.

Yay for spring and the beautiful window boxes that come with it!

After a really nice day out in Howth (pictures here), we stepped of the LUAS to find this. Being that today is the first Sunday of the month means that it's horse sale day in Smithfield Square. Gross.

The weather was gorgeous so we went for a walk around Dublin. This is the Grand Canal at Portobello.

Wes made BIG promises of burritos at this new place on Baggott Street. We had to stop by his office on the way there and this is the view from his top floor office. We were starving as we walked up to the burrito place and it was CLOSED! BOOO!!!!

Wes called me around 8:30am to tell me there was smoke all over Capel Street. He thought it was a bomb, but I assured him that we probably would have heard it if that were the case. Turns out it was a fire at one of the head shops. I had to chuckle at the irony there, but I do feel bad for anyone involved. I took this around 1:30pm and they were still working on it.

I have started walking into work with Wes and came across this on my way home. It's part of the original Dublin city wall and gate ca 1240 AD.

Not sure what is going on at The Church, but they certainly are trying to appeal to the masses!

A lovely sunny day in Dublin!

Now that the ice and snow is over, the Council is spreading salt all over the city. I guess keeping the reserves until they're actually needed would be a crazy idea.

Thank you, drunken Dublin assholes.

Waiting for the LUAS next to the snowy The Four Courts (Ireland's equivalent to the Supreme Court). And yes, thanks to the announcer on the LUAS, I can say 'The Four Courts' in Irish. :)

273/365

This might be my favorite 365 picture ever. Six inch stilettos on ice covered sidewalks. People were twittering as she passed, then people laughed at me when I pulled out my camera. It was totally worth it.
