The River Liffey is tidal so it's always going up and down. I was crossing the river today and noticed that it was higher than normal due to all of the rain we've been having in Ireland. We've been fortunate that we haven't been affected by any of the horrible flooding that they've had elsewhere in the country.

So many people displaced due to the flooding. Thank goodness, you're area escaped the chaos.
ReplyDeleteThose houses in the back are so quaint -- wonder what year they were built?
