I've started doing an oil cleansing method for cleaning my face at night. I use 25% castor oil and 75% olive oil. I would have used regular old EVOO, but then I found this 'medicinal' olive oil at Boots. It was fairly cheap, so I picked some up. Last night was the first night and so far so good! I thought I'd wake up all greasy, but that wasn't the case at all!

Wes called me around 8:30am to tell me there was smoke all over Capel Street. He thought it was a bomb, but I assured him that we probably would have heard it if that were the case. I started this B complex vitamin the other day and holy crap it works! After a slow start this morning, I did 3 loads of laundry, washed the dishes from last night and this morning (thanks to Dublin City Council turning our water off around 8pm), vacuumed, changed the sheets, cleaned the bathroom, swept the kitchen floor, and started dinner. Nice!

Liz and I went to Brown Thomas today and tried on fancy schmancy sunglasses. That's after we looked at fancy schmancy shoes. Trying on fun glasses is one of my favorite things to do. This pair was definitely a hit. They looked better on Liz than they did on me. Liz said I looked like I was going skiing, but I thought I looked like a dog with droopy eyes.

But then I was in the library and they ended up having the last two books of the 44 Scotland Street series.
